You can recognize this card easily because it's SO small, and bright red rather than the traditional green or yellow PC board. It's got a VIA / DaviCom chipset, and on the back is a sticker with a universal barcode, CO-100MV above it on the sticker, and 8803000599 below the barcode. Sadly, there's no reference to the company's name, and no FCC ID, which makes recognizing this card a real problem for newbies. It may be OEM marketed under a handful of brand names OTHER than COOS, including the popular brand MELCO ( a.k.a. Buffalo ) in Japan.
When you install this card and boot up, it'll first be discovered as a generic plug-n-play ethernet card... no company- or model-specific identifiers. Tell Win Hardware wizard that you have a disk, and steer the Wizard to these 3 EXTRACTED FILES.
(Newbie warning pointing Windows at the unextracted *.exe file won't do any good. Just double-click on this self-extracting file to extract it.)
