"Mate, i'm no hardware techie, dont even profess to be, but i have fiddled with computers for years. I have never come across so many conflicts/problems as when i downgraded the Acer 5570z from Vista home basic to XP pro. I have the ftp link to the acer driver files but they would'nt work. I must have d/loaded about 20 different drivers for the Wifi adaptor, nothing would work.
This file, however, i installed with the same expectations as previous efforts, and to my surprise, the little wireless connection icons appeared in the task bar. I have'nt
looked back. In my laptop, it is definetly the Atheros AR5006X adaptor."
